Malik Alexander was built on a single insight: the rental model is broken, and the people who are paying for it deserve better.
The traditional prom formalwear market offers two options. Option one: rent a tuxedo or buy a cheap off-the-rack suit that fits nobody, looks like everything else at the venue, and disappears the next day. Option two: spend thousands at a luxury retailer for something that is still off-the-rack and still does not fit.
Malik Alexander is option three. Custom-commissioned, custom-fitted, ships on the timeline confirmed for your order, priced at $500 to $800 for tuxedos and $895 to $2,200 for gowns. You pay once. You own it forever. You wear something that was built for you.
The commission model requires care from the first conversation. Measurements, garment details, production availability, and the customer's event date are reviewed before the order moves forward. What is included with the selected piece is confirmed during that process.
