Terms and Conditions
When you place an order with Malik Alexander, a brand of Flat Planet Import LLC, you agree to the terms that apply to your selected pieces.
Custom Commission: Every piece is made from the measurements you send. We check them before cutting and contact you if anything looks off. If a measurement you sent was wrong, the free remake does not cover it.
Payment: Orders are paid in full at checkout. Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our site.
Cancellations: Cancellations must be requested within 24 hours of order placement. Orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
Returns: Commissioned garments are made to your measurements, so we do not accept garment size exchanges or returns for a change of mind. If your tuxedo or suit does not match the measurements you sent, we remake it free. Manufacturing defects are covered the same way. Shoes have a separate size exchange policy.
Unavailable items and refunds: If we cannot supply your selection or meet the shipping date we confirmed, we will contact you. You may accept an alternative or receive a full refund for the unshipped item to your original payment method. Store credit is never required. If shipping will be later than promised, we will ask whether you agree to the new date or prefer a prompt refund. We will not treat a consultation as agreement to a delay.
Paired orders: For a garment and shoes ordered together, if one part is unavailable, you may keep the available part and receive a refund for the unavailable part, or cancel the complete unshipped order for a full refund. We will confirm your choice before production begins.
Shoe delivery: Shoes arrive within 14 days of payment.
Shoe availability: If the style or size is unavailable, we email you within 3 business days with the available choices. You may switch or receive a full refund.
Shoe exchanges and refunds: Ask for a size exchange within 14 days of delivery. We do not offer a refund for a change of mind.
Accessories delivery: Accessories ship to U.S. addresses. We will email tracking details when your order ships. If we cannot ship within 30 days, you may accept a new date or cancel for a full refund.
Accessories returns: You may request a return within 30 days of delivery if the accessory is unworn and in its original condition. Contact the House for return instructions before sending it back.
Report a Manufacturing Defect: Email mike@malikalexander.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, photos and a description of the problem. Mike will review your report and reply with next steps.
Intellectual Property: All designs, images, and content on this site are the exclusive property of Malik Alexander. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.
Design Exclusivity: Each Malik Alexander piece is commissioned using the individual customer's approved measurements. Malik Alexander does not guarantee that the same design will not be commissioned by other customers. Design exclusivity applies only when a specific written exclusivity agreement is entered into at the time of commission for an additional fee. Customers who require design exclusivity should contact a stylist before ordering.
